The Fetching Post Groom Shop is the first building you encounter on the property, resembling a beautiful brick barn.
The hours of operation for the groom shop are Monday through Saturday from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm, with drop-offs for single spa days between 7:30 am and 10:00 am
FULL GROOM
Our full grooming service includes a bath, ear cleaning, anal gland expression, nail trim, and full-body haircut to your specification. Our dedicated groomers are happy to offer advice for breed specifics and coat conditions.
The price for a full groom starts at $65 and varies based on the time required to achieve the perfect groom. Variables that can affect pricing include:
- Size
- Coat Condition
- Coat Texture And Length
- Desired Haircut
- Temperament
We are happy to discuss these variables in-depth at any time. All grooming services come with complimentary application of conditioning spray for your pet’s coat health and cologne spray for your enjoyment. And yes, we groom cats!
“TUNE UP”
Our tune-up grooming service includes a bath, ear cleaning, anal gland expression, nail trim, and a trim of the face, feet, and sanitary area. This service is recommended for upkeep between full grooms, or for pets that may not require a full haircut.
The price for a tune-up grooming starts at $60 and varies based on the time required to achieve the perfect groom. All grooming services come with complimentary application of conditioning spray for your pet’s coat health and cologne spray for your enjoyment!
“THE BATH”
Our bath service is not just a dip in the tub! It includes an ear cleaning, anal gland expression, nail trim, and a full blow-out and brush-out. This service is recommended for short-coated pets, or to freshen up your full-coated pets between grooms. Double-coated pets on which haircuts are not recommended can also benefit from this service; our undercoat removal and thinning process helps cut back on shedding.
The price for baths starts at $28 and varies based on the time to complete the perfect bath. All grooming services come with complimentary application of conditioning spray for your pet’s coat health and cologne spray for your enjoyment!
If your pet has a skin condition or concern, we offer frequent baths at a discounted rate. Ask our receptionist how you can set up a weekly or bi-weekly bath for your pet.
We are happy to offer daycare at a discounted rate for dogs having a bath with us. For just $18 extra, your pet can join our daycare group and enjoy hours of play with other dogs!
Shampoos and Skin Care
The Fetching Post is happy to offer a range of specialty shampoos so that you can customize your pet’s bath experience. From medicated to hypoallergenic to de-shedding, we have over a dozen formulas for your consideration. We are happy to discuss your pet’s skin and coat condition to determine which of our specialty shampoos is right for your pet. Application of these specialty shampoos is an additional $12 charge, and some can be purchased from The Fetching Post directly.
All clients are welcome to bring their own shampoo from home! Whether it be a prescription formula or your personal preference, feel free to provide it to the receptionist at the time of your appointment.
Fleas and Ticks
Imidacloorid™ is a topical product used for the treatment and prevention of fleas and ticks. It is available for all dogs and cats 8 weeks and older and can be applied at the time of your appointment for a charge of $10-$20 depending on weight.
Please note that we do require the administration of Capstar if fleas are seen on your pet during their appointment for a $15 fee. Capstar is an oral flea treatment that begins killing fleas in as little as 30 minutes!
Extras
Bows, bandanas, and ribbons are available upon request for no additional charge. Nail polish and dye is also available for a nominal fee.
Permanent hair color adornments are fun and make your dog unique. The charge for hair coloring starts at $20 and increases depending on the amount of color requested and the time required.
